We met at our workplace, Convergys. October 2006. Richard was single and I was in the process of moving on ..alone.
Richard was a team leader when I went there he helped with the new employee training process. We very quickly connected through our conversations. We discovered that Richard's parents and my father came from Guysborough County. Both of our families have the same values and beliefs.
Our first date was at Smitty's on Main Street. Richard put his arm around me as we walked into the restaurant. I bought a pair of shoes for this event and my feet hurt like hell.
